I am going to provide insights into the levels of consciousness, from the Map of Consciousness that relates to each of his Top 10 Illusions of Humans, but before I do let’s answer the question,
“What are illusions?”
The definition of illusions as defined by the Miriam Webster Dictionary online and the way in which Neale Donald Walsch is enumerating the Top 10 Illusions of Humans (as he understands it from his conversations with God) are:
— the perception of something objectively existing in such a way as to cause misinterpretation of its actual nature

As an avid reader of the Conversations with God trilogy, I understand what Neale means in regards to how “God” sees the Top 10 Illusions of Humans.
So What Are the Top 10 Illusions of Humans per today’s life lessons with Neale Donald Walsch?

I am going to break down each one of the Top 10 Illusions of Humans as it relates to the Map of Consciousness®, developed by Dr. David R. Hawkins.
Before I do though let’s review the Map.
The scale goes from 0 to 1,000.
It is a logarithmic scale, so 10 on the Map = 10 to the 10th power, whereas 1,000 on the Map is 10 to the 1,00th power.
Anything below 200 on the Map is considered a lower level of consciousness that “holds no truth”, is downward pulling, negatively oriented, and destructive by nature. Anything at 200 and above is considered a higher level of consciousness and “holds truth” and measurable power. It is upward pulling, positively oriented, life-affirming, and constructive by nature.

They are impersonal “energy” or attractor fields in consciousness.
None of them is “better” than another.
The vast field of consciousness simply provides the ability to create or destroy as an experience in life.
1,000 on the Map is the highest level of consciousness that a human being can reach and still remain in the body. The avatars throughout history that have reached this level of consciousness include Jesus Christ, the Buddha, Krishna, Dr. David R. Haawkins, and others.
Now that I’ve explained the Map a little bit, let’s take a look at the Top 10 Illusions of Humans again and put them into context based on the Map (below).

Every illusion we have as humans is of lower consciousness, meaning it “holds no truth” in consciousness and calibrates below 200 on the Map of Consciousnes®.
Now, why is this so prevalent in our world?
It has to do with the fact that 85% of the plant operates below 200 on the Map, and 50% of the United States operates below 200. Don’t be dismayed, as “God” in Conversations with God will tell you that we are a very primitive planet, barely in nursery school, to put it into context versus highly evolved planets, civilizations, or dimensions. (the narcissistic core of the ego likes to think we’re the only planet in the Universe).
And not to further dismay you, as none of us are victims (calibrates as true), Dr. Hawkins has calibrated that the planet is purgatorial by nature, so you don’t have to worry about being condemned for all eternity in purgatory; you’re already in it! :)
It also calibrates at a very high level in the 400s that life on this planet provides a significant opportunity for spiritual advancement and the evolution of consciousness for all of us as spiritual beings.
All of the illusions ARE energies of victimhood, “not enough-ness,” unworthiness, etc…
This “holds no truth” in consciousness, and you will begin to release this belief as soon as you step into the consciousness level of COURAGE at 200 on the Map.
The 2nd illusion is that FAILURE exists. Again, this reflects the energy field of desire in that failure represents disappointment and being denied what you really want in addition to feelings of FEAR and the perception of being PUNISHED by God, which calibrates at 100 on the Map.
The 4th is that INSUFFICIENCY exists. Again, this is a lack of consciousness and craving more. It’s the same energy field of DESIRE (LOC 125), and being denied what you want and disappointed you can’t attract (really) what you want. In reality, it’s not so much that you are being denied what you want but that you are misaligned with what you want, which is only accessible in the higher energy fields of attraction.
Now that you know, you can choose differently and learn how to let go of the lower levels that don’t align you with what you want but continue to present to you want you don’t want.
The 5th of the top 10 illusions of humans is that REQUIREMENT exists. There are at least three levels of consciousness that prove this is not true.
The first is the level of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE at 540 on the Map. You are, and all of us are UNCONDITIONALLY LOVED by all that exists, whether you are aware of this or not.
There IS NO requirement that you be anything other than who you are at any given moment.
The second is the LOC, known as LOVE or love consciousness. You are loved and revered, and you understand that God loves by nature.
In fact, the statement “All Lives Matter” calibrates at 545 on the Map.
When you “get” this, and accept it as the ultimate truth, then you can begin to unravel the false beliefs that you are required to have, do, or be anything other than you are.
The third LOC that proves REQUIREMENT is an illusion is the LOC known as ACCEPTANCE. Acceptance is the LOC where you are willing to accept that you are the creator of your own experience, and you also step into the powerful energy field of forgiveness.
Until you step into the higher levels of consciousness where there is true power, you will continue to feel that you need some requirement.
Judgment can also be found in the energy field of GUILT (LOC 30) and SHAME (LOC 20). These are the lowest, most ignorant LOCs to believe are true. They are simply indicators of your own suppressed and repressed feelings that weren’t processed when they needed to be likely as a child.
Learn how to let go of these, and like a rocket ship, your experience of judgment from God and others will dissipate over time.
The 8th is that CONDITIONALITY exists. You may perceive that conditionality exists, but it’s only your perception. You perceive from the level of consciousness that you are operating from on a wide variety of topics. You could very well be of a higher level of consciousness on some topics and, typically, of a lower level of consciousness on your self-view or perception of yourself.
I will state it again. The higher truth is that you are UNCONDITIONALLY LOVED and “All Lives Matter.”
The LOC known as PRIDE is one of the most prevalent illusions of humans in the land of the energy of SUPERIORITY. The “energy” at this level of consciousness is scorn and inflation. Your self-view is demanding and likely attached to perfectionism. The God view is indifferent.
Superiority is really a projection of the feeling of unworthiness at its root. You are not really aware of the destructive nature of this energy field because you like the juice of the ego and wanting to be right and prove others wrong. It “feels” like you have some power when in reality you really don’t., hence the renowned quote,
“Pride goeth before the fall.”
This LOC is certainly prevalent in the political arena. Politics and “politicians” calibrate at 180 on the Map and are destructive by nature.
Finally, the 10th illusion of humans is that IGNORANCE exists.
That has been likely perceived as true until now.
