Learn How to Meditate
All New Online Meditation Classes From the Convenience of Your Own Home.
Namaste Y’all!
I am excited to announce that Grateful Om is initiating a weekly ONLINE mindfulness meditation group beginning Wednesday, September 6th at 7:30 EST. I have been meditating on my intention to share the power of meditation with as many people as possible, from beginning meditators, to those looking to increase their meditation practice. I wanted to find a way that a community at all levels can gather together to support each other in meditation and a higher level of energy. I am passionate about sharing meditation techniques and mindfulness techniques as well. I know from experience that just beginning and committing to a meditation practice will lead you and support you on your journey to living your best life.
“I want to Heal the world through meditation and mindfulness”
As altruistic as it may sound I am out to heal the world through meditation. I am not going to lie though, I started this journey with meditation as means to heal myself. All of us are becoming more and more aware of the effects of stress on the body and overall health. In an article on ProjectMeditation.org, Joel Sparks wrote,
”Stress is a major cause of many things such as coronary disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes and high blood pressure. These afflictions have been shown through scientific study to be lessened or otherwise depleted with the help of meditation in fact health insurance statistics on people who meditate regularly have shown that they are less prone to illness. The actual statistics were that those who meditate reduced the likelihood of being hospitalized for coronary disease by 87 percent, and the possibility of getting cancer by 55 percent.”
I had enough stress in my life to choke a horse. It was literally choking me. My blood pressure was sky high, I was having heart palpitations, I was sinking into a depression and started to isolate myself from friends and family. I hurt too much and felt to yucky to do anything more than I had to, to survive. It was a dark time. Several personal tragedies and a stressful work environment led me to serious health problems that presented in my heart, but affected my overall health.
A friend invited me to Oprah’s “Live your Best Life” weekend, and so the healing began. I was introduced to the concept of “Living Your Best Life”. I learned that I am the powerful inventor of my life.
I was especially touched by the teachings of Dr. Deepak Chopra. After enrolling in several classes at the Chopra Center, I was intrigued by the science and tenets of Ayurveda, and developed a passion for meditation. I then decided to become certified in Perfect Health. Knowing these practices saved my life, I set out on a mission to share what I learned to help as many people as possible on their own healing journeys. I am grateful that I was led to meditation. Starting my first beginning meditation practice led me out of the dark and started me on the path of living my best life.
Just the facts Jack! We all know meditation and mindfulness rock!
And the cool thing y’all, is we know meditation is important to our overall wellbeing. In fact, there are over 135,000 Google searches performed on meditation alone every month. It goes up to over 400,000 searched when you break it down to related searches. Over 60,000 Google searches are performed on “How to meditate”. So, you are looking for the help and meditation instructions and I am looking to share it with you. By making online meditation classes, wellness coaching, and mindfulness techniques available to you, I am fulfilling my promise and purpose. That is why Grateful OM is offering this super low cost weekly ONLINE mindfulness and meditation meetup group and class.
I am also excited to provide the space for group meditation. Omigosh Y’all! The power of a group meditation is amazing! Margaret Mead once said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”. That’s us! It is the basic law of energy. That which you give more energy grows. When a group puts energy toward the highest good of all members of the group, the energy that supports that intention grows exponentially! You want to come and get you some of this!
In addition to the Weekly Mindfulness Meditation Meetup (Is that a mouthful or what?) all subscribers will have access to the private Grateful OM Life Weekly Mindfulness Meditation Facebook group page. This private page is where we support each other as a community, ask questions, share incites and knowledge and other means of support. This is also where recordings of the prior weeks’ class can be found for review. I am excited to see what happens on the page.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
First you can expect to be in the online meditation class meetup from 45 minutes to an hour every week. The classes will be held via a Zoom video conference so you will be able to come and go as you need.

You will be presented with many different meditation techniques and mindfulness practices. You get to choose to take on what you think will work for you and leave the rest. These can be a short video, a meme, a demonstration of a technique, the sky is the limit. Group Meditation
There are so many benefits to group meditation. When many meet with a shared intention or even to support individual intentions, there is a synergistic or multiplication and expansion of energy gathered to support manifestation of your hearts desires and intentions. It is my intention that we strengthen your connections, support and learn from one another, and help you stay committed to your meditation practice.
NOW IT IS UP TO YOU
I am thrilled to be able to offer you a free subscription for your 1st 6 weeks! Your subscription not only includes access to the weekly mindfulness meditation group but also to the private Facebook page. How cool is that?
Why am I offering all of this at no cost for your 1st 6 weeks?
Well, I will tell you why. Spending time at the Chopra Center learning about Ayurveda, meditation, and mindfulness, Dr. Deepak Chopra spoke often of his goal for elevating the worlds’ energy by introducing and facilitating more and more people around the word to begin a regular meditation practice. He invited us as wellness coaches and ambassadors of meditation to join him in this pursuit. I am facilitating the change I want to see in the world.
I want to make these tools available to everyone. I truly do. Knowing the benefit meditation and mindfulness have had in my life, there is no way I can keep it to myself. I am not a doctor but this information can save lives. I want to take away any roadblock I can to make this meditation training and mindfulness instruction available to you. I want you to know how truly amazing you are. I want you healthy in mind, body and spirit. I want you to be able to provide your friends and family with tools to help. I want you to be able to say, “Life is Good” and mean it. But most of all, I want you to be happy! The more of us happy people there are running around, the better place this world will be.
So now it is up to you to take the first step. Yours decision to begin the journey to living your best life.

I agree that meditation could indeed be a good way to help people with high blood pressure. Maybe it’s not a bad idea to look for an online consciousness class soon because it could help my mind stay calm. Being levelheaded will surely help me perform better at work during crucial moments.
