Interview with Suzanne Giesemann
Recently we had the sheer delight to interview Suzanne Giesemann, not only a former U.S. Navy Commander (20 year career) who served as a commanding officer and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on 9/11, she is also a gifted mystic, mediumship reader and mediumship classes and development trainer.
During 9/11 one of Suzanne’s equal in the Navy was killed. It was then that Suzanne decided, life was too short, and it was time to live out her and her husband’s life-long dream of sailing around the world, so she retired from the Navy.
Suzanne was never aware of any mediumship abilities, until the tragic loss of her stepdaughter and unborn grandchild that died suddenly. According to Suzanne, she was so grief stricken and left hanging with questions she wanted answers to, the opening into mediumship abilities began.
Though tragic, this event became a catalyst for Suzanne’s new “Marching Orders” from Spirit!
Suzanne offers that there are no special gifts or prerequisites to developing mediumship abilities. We are all souls having a human experience. Communicating soul-to-soul is likely more natural than you make think!
Suzanne has been connecting people, suffering from grief and loss over the death of a loved one, with those loved ones that have passed through the vehicle of mediumship readings since 2006.
Suzanne speaks of Universal Consciousness. She explains of the awareness of the existence of one mind. We all have the ability to tap into the love, light, and joy of this one mind, or Universal Consciousness. According to Suzanne, this Universal Consciousness would ask you to let go of the “God” word…go with “Joy” or “light”.
So, What is Mediumship and, More Significantly, Evidential Mediumship?
Mediumship is a channel for assurance that love does go on, there really is another side to life. Loved ones are not dead and gone. There are right here, accessible, present and waiting to let you know “I’m OK”
Mediumship is also the ability to connect clearly with loved ones who passed away.
But how can you be sure you or a mediumship reader is really connecting with your loved ones?
Enter the beauty of evidential mediumship…
In evidential mediumship, the reading is beyond just comfort, it’s proof that your loved one is still present. The mediumship reader asks your loved one who has passed very specific, verifiable and detailed questions he/she has no other way of knowing the answers to without direct communication from the loved one who has passed.
You as the “sitter” (or one receiving the mediumship reading) is often astonished at the details your loved ones provide the mediumship reader.
Evidenced based mediumship readings are different than psychic readings. Psychics typically look into the future, which doesn’t exist (yet) and is subject to change with every choice you make, and is unverifiable. Mediums communicate at the soul level as opposed to psychics that communicate on the plain of the personality and our energy fields.
Suzanne loves to teach mediumship because the spirit world wants to communicate with us and “WOW” us.
Suzanne considers mediumship “sacred” work because it brings light, joy, and healing to the someone willing to communicate with spirit.
If you are skeptical as to your ability to develop mediumship skills, then your energy field is sending off a signal that you are not willing to recieve communications and guidance. In order to develop your mediumship skills you first must be willing to step into courage about receiving communications and develop your ability to open up to mediumship and this form of communication.
In mediumship training you will likely be introduced to the “Clairs” or types of communication that are other than your typical 5 senses including:
- Clairvoyance,
- Clairaudience,
- Clairsentience, and
- Claircognizance
Suzanne briefly addresses each of these in our interview.
