Understanding How to Live in the Moment with Eckhart Tolle
Today I have consciously curated an inspirational life lesson from renowned spiritual teacher, Eckhart Tolle.
I chose today’s life lesson because we all need to be reminded of this message. In the evolution of consciousness, we are in we need to understand how genuinely fulfilling living in the present moment can be.
I also chose Eckhart Tolle for today’s life lesson because he has a significant impact on the world.
The level of consciousness of his teachings is significant. They are calibrated at the level of consciousness of Mastery. It is beyond useful and effective at 210+ on the Map of Consciousness®, to Mastery at 450.
They are powerful transformative teachings.
In today’s insights, I will address the issue of goal setting in your life related to the Map.
How can you enjoy every moment when you are in pursuit of some goal?
You’ve heard the expression, “It’s the journey, not the destination.”
More than enough, from more than enough spiritual teachers, right?
This is referring to the present moment living vs. projecting yourself out there to a non-existent future.
So I ask you when you are pursuing a goal, are you enjoying every moment of it and living in the moment?
Or are you are more focused on becoming, or fulfilling, or reaching that goal?
Which is it?
The latter, in the absence of present moment living, can create stress.
The stress can unintentionally manifest as resentment, bitterness, anger, low-level desire, “not-enoughness,” and righteous pride. These are also known as lower levels of consciousness or egoic binds.
This is what I would like to address today.
How can you enjoy the moment when you have stress and unfulfilled goals or intentions in your life?
My experience has been to learn how to let go of the stress, be it in the form of resentment, bitterness, anger, low-level desire, “not-enoughness,” and righteous pride.
But before I get into the “letting go” part, I’d like to share my experience with very high levels of conscious awareness that Eckhart Tolle speaks of.
Dr. David R. Hawkins speaks of enlightened states as well. Enlightened states of consciousness begin at 600 on the Map. We all have access to these high levels of beingness.
They are profoundly beautiful and not “of this world.”
I like to say that when I have been in this “lightness of being,” I was “not in Kansas anymore!”
I have experienced significant swings in consciousness:
The presence of a high of 850 on the Map to the presence of extremely low levels of consciousness. The depths of hell are an understatement. YOU DON’T WANT TO GO THERE! These low levels likely calibrate in the negative 200s-300s. I haven’t calibrated them, but this is my intuitive guess based on my understanding of the Map.
This is an imbalance to an extreme!
Now there is no need to experience such an extreme imbalance. But if you do, know that others like me have forged a trail of light to pave the way for transcendence.
